“Once upon a time, long before modernism was invented, gentle people embellished their homes with fanciful objects of art. Staffordshire dogs guarded mantel pieces while porcelain figurines waltzed through corner cupboards. And so the story begins.”

And so begins how Dana Gibson describes her work.  We love here fanciful objects of art.  In particular, we love here ceramics.  Ms. Gibson has designed pieces that have that old world look but also have a touch of now.

Dogbookends

My favorite pieces, available for sale on Dana Gibson’s website are these dog bookends and some really cool Mandarin boy and girl vases – both of which remind me of things my grandmother had in her house.

In addition to these home accessories, Ms. Gibson offers a lovely selection of unique lamps, waste baskets and pillows.
