imagemagicI am packing for my trip to London and one thing I always make sure I have is a good travel clock.

For some reason when I cross time zones I am forever confused and for the whole vacation I calculate what the “real time” is. This can be very distracting but there are clocks out there that can help.

Like these travel clocks from Bedol What’s Next.

“Sacred Art is an independently owned business. I wanted to create an alternate venue to the gallery. A place less intimidating, less expensive, and hopefully a little more fun. I wanted to create the year-round art bazaar and have work priced just so anyone who comes in can walk away with something.”

I particular like the work of featured artist Anastasia Makarenko.

I have had many bottle openers in my life – to open Coke in bottles of course. My most cherished was the vintage Spuds McKenzie opener handed down to me from my brothers. Oh yeah, and the Homer Simpson opener that says “mmmm, beer” when the metal makes a connection with a bottle cap.1a2915

But I didn’t know what I was missing until I saw this whimsical “Lady in waiting” bottle opener on The Victorian Trading Company’s website.

“A most accommodating pose invites one to open a cold one this delightful antique reproduction was popular among many of our grandfathers while grandmother would probably raise an eyebrow! Hand-painted cast iron.”

Works for me!
