Today we took the train from Assisi to Florence for an overnight side trip. Florence is a vibrant Tuscan city that oozes old world charm and culture from every corner. I loved the place the second I stepped off the train.
As Lost Cowboy fans know, I love street markets, and Florence is home to so many market areas I was overwhelmed. But I loved it.
The markets are visually stimulating and took many pictures of the wares for sale. The region is known for their leather products – this is a display of belts and buckles on a vendor’s cart:
