MGBHere’s a business we can totally get behind, My Grandmother’s Buttons of St. Francisville, LA.

About My Grandmother’s Buttons: “It all began when owner and designer Susan Garrett Davis was a small child in this lovely and sleepy Mississippi River town. Two of her most vivid memories were playing with the contents of her mother’s button tin while she sewed, and trailing behind her parents to the town’s imposing brick bank building as they made deposits and cashed checks. A boisterous child, Susan was always somewhat awe-struck by the bank’s 16-foot ceilings, carved oak panels and mosaic tile floors. No part of her could have imagined that she would eventually buy the bank building, create a button museum in the old vault and install her mother’s button tin in a case there!”

My Grandmother’s Buttons sells all sorts of products made with buttons like earrings, watches, charms and other jewelry while honoring the history and tradition of buttons. In fact, My Grandmother’s Buttons also houses a Button Museum in their flagship store in St. Francisville, LA.

If you can’t make it to My Grandmother’s Buttons’ store in Louisiana, you can shop in their online store here.
