GFIt has been a while since I posted a recipe – so I thought this late winter Saturday was a great time to highlight this perfect frittata recipe I found: the Brussels Sprout, Bacon and Gruyère Frittata from Food & Wine magazine.

One look at the list of ingredients in this recipe and you will be hooked:

  • 1/2 pound thick-cut bacon, diced
  • 2 shallots, halved and thinly sliced
  • 3/4 pound brussels sprouts, halved and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1/4 cup snipped chives

Seriously? Bacon, brussels sprouts and Gruyère? I’m in!
