KCTUTThere was a time when Kansas City, MO was one of the great centers of the railroads – for passengers and freight. The city’s grand Union Station was the stopping point for many travelers crossing the country and making connections to points north and south at the near center of the continental USA.

Today, Kansas City’s Union Station is gloriously restored and a centerpiece of the city’s Mid-town district. Although only a few trains run through KC today, Union Station has been reinvented as a cultural landmark and entertainment and museum destination.

About Union Station Kansas City: “Union Station Kansas City is a historical landmark and civic asset renovated and reopened to the public in 1999.
