I love farmers’ markets big and small and the weekly Wellfleet Farmers Market is one of the first events that gets slotted on the vacation calendar. Held every Wednesday in season, the Wellfleet market offers a small, but well curated, collection of local produce, flowers, crafts and other goods on the charming grounds of Wellfleet Preservation Hall.

About Wellfleet Farmers Market: “Every Wednesday through Oct. 15th, you’ll find: Spring seedlings, fresh coffee, baked goods, spice rubs, jams & jellies, salsas & preserves, lots o’ eggs, local fruits & veggies, cut flowers & herbs, garlic & onions, fantastic greens, honey, squash, Truro chickens, Barnstable pork, Wellfleet sea salt, market tees, and live music.”

Here are a few snapshots I took yesterday morning on my visit to the market (click thumbnail for full picture):

The Wellfleet Farmers Market is held 8 a.m. – Noon every Wednesday, May through October 15th behind Preservation Hall – 335 Main Street, Wellfleet, MA.
