MATOK, today’s find, Matador Pocket Blankets, is really one of the coolest things I have found in a while. I have always kept a blanket or throw in my car in case I run into a spot for an impromptu picnic or such. I have found that lugging a blanket on my bike is too bulky and wish I had a solution. Now I do – the amazing Matador Pocket Blanket is big enough to cover the ground (or whatever surface you find) and folds up to fit in your pocket, bike bag or “European” man-bag.

About Matador Pocket Blankets: “A blanket that fits in your pocket, but keeps you clean, dry and comfortable when you want to lay down in the grass. Stop sitting on your jacket, stop lugging bulky blankets with you. Get a Matador and Put Yourself Out There. Water repellent, puncture resistant and extremely compact. At 55in X 44in (140cm X 110cm) it’s large enough for 2 to relax or more to sit.”

Now I just have to wait for the snow to melt and the ground to thaw before I can have a proper picnic – but at least I’ll be prepared.
