aa4Another great gift I received for Christmas was a bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey Tonic from the fine folks at Fire Cider (my actual bottle pictured below).

A little known fact, but one known to at least one Christmas gifter, is that I drink organic raw apple cider vinegar just about every day – just a quarter of a cup diluted with some water. I may have mentioned this fact here before when I went on and on about the renaissance of shrubs – which are basically vinegars people add to drinks.

Anyway, I was thrilled to receive a bottle of Fire Cider’s Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey Tonic – and even better it is awesome!

About the Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey Tonic from Fire Cider: “The original, and still the favorite, Fire Cider size for many of our customers! This durable, leak-free 8-ounce amber bottle—complete with our famous hand-drawn pirate label—is the perfect size for keeping in the kitchen, as well as for tucking into your travel bag or giving as gifts. To craft our health tonic, we start with a base of raw, certified organic apple cider vinegar, which has long been used by everyone from grandmothers to farmers to extract the beneficial properties of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and spices. To this we add whole, raw, organic ginger, horseradish, onions, and garlic. Then we toss in organic habañero peppers for heat, turmeric for a bit of zing, and lemons and oranges for a citrus-y tang.”
