FF: The Coral Bleaching Mug from Qualy

It’s cool when your mug doubles as cool art piece and environmental reminder – like the Coral Bleaching Mug I found from the fine folks at Qualy.

About the Coral Bleaching Mug from Qualy:

“Climate change is affecting the colour of corals, turning them white. Place the inverted mug over the coral to create a beautiful diorama of nature, or use the coral as a mug lid. Either way, this mug and lid set will help to remind you to be environmentally conscious, while keeping your beverage dust-free.”

FF: The Flag Dominoes from Fredericks and Mae

I’m really digging the Flag Dominoes I found from the fine folks at Fredericks and Mae – a fun twist on an ancient game.

About the Flag Dominoes from Fredericks and Mae:

“Flag Dominoes replace the classic dots (or pips), with silkscreened nautical flags used to communicate numbers 0-6. The game’s name comes from the pieces’ resemblance to Venetian Carnival masks known as domino, which were white with black spots. These masks were so named, in turn, because they resembled French priests’ winter hoods, being black on the outside and white on the inside. The oldest known domino set was found in Tutankamen’s tomb, among the ruin of Thebes.”
