Today, in honor of Good Friday, I stray from my usual Friday Finds format to bring to you one of my all-time favorite finds – the wonderful print, The Return From Calvary by Herbert Gustav Schmalz.
I have told the story of what make this a special piece of art to me in past posts on Lost Cowboy. However, every year on Good Friday I think of it especially, as it captures a moment from the day Christians the world over mark as the day Jesus was crucified.
