JCMI have posted a few things related to the late great Johnny Cash recently, all of it much deserved, and now there is something to add: the long-awaited Johnny Cash Museum has finally opened in Nashville.

I for one can’t wait to explore this museum, which by all accounts is awesome.

About the Johnny Cash Museum: “Fans of the legendary Johnny Cash can now get an extensive look into the singer’s life at the new Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville. Bits and pieces from The Man in Black’s childhood, military service years and incredible career have been lovingly put together by family, friends and fans. Within the walls of the red brick building located at 119 Third Avenue South, visitors will be able to browse display after fascinating display of Johnny Cash’s Air Force uniform and military paraphernalia, guitars, costumes and awards. In addition, there are many letters, documents and photographs on exhibit. Fans can also relive Johnny Cash’s greatest moments through interactive video and music centers”

Add a trip to the Johnny Cash Museum to the growing list of things I want to visit on my trip to Tennessee and Kentucky.
