FF: The cool retro luggage from SteamLine Luggage

SLLI love the look of the luggage you see on luggage carts at train stations in old movies. I am thinking about ditching the cliché black roller bag for SteamLine luggage’s Entrepreneur Series.

About SteamLine Luggage: “Inspired by travel and exploration, SteamLine Luggage is a collection of beautifully finished, vintage-style cases. Radiating the elegance of yesteryear with a modern-day twist, this collection is essential for anyone with a love of travel and a sense of style. Hand-crafted and leather bound, the larger pieces come with discreet trolley wheels. Each piece is protected by a combination lock, and with a detachable leather strap, the smaller cases are transformed into a unique jewelry box or handbag. Whilst exuding vintage chic, the collection is remarkably lightweight, perfect for easy transportation; any of these pieces will make an ideal companion for the modern traveler with a flair for classic originality. There are distinctive styles in the collection – ranging from the archetypal Diplomat, whispering the bygone era of steam engine trains, to the eye-catching Editor Series, bringing tales of romantic adventure to mind.”

FF: Wool & Whiskey in Jackson Hole, WY

WaWA visit to Jackson Hole, Wyoming has long been on my travel bucket list, and now that I have heard about Wool & Whiskey, a shop that mixes men’s furnishing and whiskey, it has move up a few spots.

About Wool & Whiskey: “Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is happy to announce Wool & Whiskey as the newest addition to the growing retail community in Teton Village. Wool & Whiskey is a men’s mercantile shop with a fully stocked whiskey bar. The store, first of its kind in Jackson Hole, takes a functional yet ruggedly sophisticated approach towards dressing the western man in a modern lifestyle. The outerwear and clothing selection is of a tougher breed- from the bomb-proof local Mountain Khakis to classic Pendleton jackets.”

FF: Bulleit Bourbon

FFBBWhy wait for Wyoming? This next find is so easy for me to speak about, as Bulleit Bourbon is my favorite bourbon – and that is saying a lot as I love all bourbon.

About Bulleit Bourbon: “Bulleit Bourbon is made by following the small-batch technique inspired by Augustus Bulleit over 150 years ago. Only the highest quality ingredients are used. Bulleit Bourbon’s subtlety and complexity stem from its unique blend of rye, corn and barley malt, along with special strains of yeast. Because Bulleit Bourbon is especially high in rye content, it has a bold and spicy character with a distinctively smooth, clean finish. The high rye content of Bulleit and the importance of the rye as an ingredient inspired Tom Bulleit to work on a 95% Rye launched in 2011. The Rye is spicy and complex, with the signature smooth finish unique to the Bulleit Brand.”

AFBWell, believe it or not it is finally here – the first major exhibition of my artwork will be tomorrow, Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Arts Fest Beverly in Beverly, MA. This will be my first juried show where my photography, and limited assemblages, will be on display and for sale to the public and I am super excited.

If you are in the greater Boston area and are looking for a nice day trip, Beverly is a great place to visit and a nice jumping off point for a day on the North Shore of Boston and Cape Ann.

Stop by Arts Fest Beverly, and the companion Food Fest, and look for me.
